On Thursday, the first Test between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka finished in a tie. Dinesh Chandimal and Niroshan Dickwell scored 99 runs for the visiting team's seventh wicket and agreed to a draw 45 minutes before the fifth and final day of the Test.
Sri Lanka had lost 6 wickets and stayed at 260 runs when the game was called over. Dickwell (61) and Chandimal (39) continued in the game.
Sri Lanka scored 397 runs in the first innings, batting first at the Zahur Ahmed Chaudhary Stadium. Bangladesh scored 465 runs in response.
